In the U.K, the latest figures suggest 62% of the adult population are overweight. Being overweight is associated with many other health conditions such as various cancers, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, osteoarthritis, fatty liver disease, kidney disease, premature aging, respiratory problems and high blood pressure. The BMI (body mass index) is one way to tell whether you are at a normal weight. It measures your weight in relation to your height and provides a score to help place you in a category. Normal weight is classified as BMI of 18.5 to 24.9, overweight is BMI of 25 to 29 and obesity is a BMI of 30 or higher. However, BMI should be used with caution on its own because it does not take into account ethnicity differences or body muscle in athletic people.​

There are many benefits to weight reduction including feeling more energetic, enhanced self-confidence and self-esteem, improved sex-drive, better sleep and improved relationships. I am extremely knowledgeable in helping clients to reduce their weight as I personally lost 3.5 stone four years ago.​

My weight reduction hypnosis program is based on the Why Program, which has been successfully used in the United States to help many people lose weight. I use all of the latest hypnosis techniques including Suggestion Therapy, NLP, Regression Therapy and Parts Therapy. The sessions cover a range of issues which are adapted to each individual client’s needs including preparing the client for change and dealing with motivation, making healthier food choices, dealing with emotional eating, self-control over eating, motivation to exercise and teaching self-hypnosis to help clients have more control over their food choices. There is also an optional gastric virtual band session which is completely safe and without all the pain and trauma of having surgery although this approach is not for everyone so I am happy to adapt the sessions to meet your individual needs.​

All clients are offered a full consultation prior to starting the course to assess suitability. There is homework given in between sessions including keeping a regular food diary and clients will be provided with a copy of the recording of each session which they can play at home to maximise therapeutic effect. It is important that anyone contemplating reduction should always consult their G.P. first to rule out any medical complications and check that any new lifestyle plan is appropriate and safe for them.
